Growing for flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano, tam tam and live electronics (2019)
From a single note to a whole piece, the composition process is like a human being growing from a single cell into a whole organism.
The basis of this five-minute work is the spectral analysis of a tam-tam strike played backwards.
Each instrument plays only one note (except piano).
The piece begins with tam-tam and continues counterclockwise with piano, violin, flute, clarinet and cello.
